When a situation requires ongoing assistance on a daily basis, a live-in caregiver can be a cost-effective way to remain at home safely.
In addition to helping with all personal care, our caregivers provide safety supervision, meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping. Errands and transportation to medical appointments or social outings are also routine. One of the greatest benefits of a live-in caregiver is having one primary person (with an alternate) that becomes familiar with you and your family and can develop into a comfortable relationship. Because a live-in caregiver sleeps at night, this level of care would not be appropriate for someone who requires care or close supervision through the night.
