There’s no place quite like home when you are recovering from an injury, surgery, or managing an ongoing condition. I passionately believe that receiving care, wherever you call home, is always the best option. Home is where the heart is!
Every person has a unique story and situation, and every situation requires a customized solution. As a Client Services Consultant, I meet with potential clients and their families. I spend time getting to know them and the healthcare challenges they face, this helps our Privatus team design the perfect personalized plan for every client. My experience working with older adults is extensive. For over twenty years, I have been devoted to senior health care and have enjoyed the benefit of knowing my primary role is to help older adults have a better quality of life. I am grateful to be part of Privatus; an organization that truly cares about quality and is committed to supporting personal preferences.
As a lifetime Long Islander, my broad network and deep knowledge of the health care system allows me to provide guidance regarding resources that may be helpful to you, both within and outside Privatus. One of the most satisfying parts of my position is hearing feedback from a client regarding the positive impact our services have had on their quality of life and the lives of their loved ones. Whether for a short term situation or for ongoing needs, I truly believe that we make a difference that matters.
Having spent over twenty-five years in the nursing field, both as a caregiver and growing a private care agency in NYC, I was thrilled to return to my native Long Island as Executive Director with Privatus, a company that mirrors my dedication to serving the needs of our clients with the highest level of excellence, professionalism and compassion. I hold a degree in nursing from Molloy College and am also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. In 2004 I earned my CHPN certification and always continue to pursue knowledge and new approaches to provide the best care possible to our clients. In addition to my work with Privatus, I enjoy being involved with professional organizations like the Case Management Society of America and the American Nurses Association. I am also an avid volunteer within my community and encourage the same amongst my team. In my personal time, I enjoy cycling and yoga to keep healthy, spending time with my three teenage children or an evening out in Manhattan.
With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and over seven years of experience recruiting healthcare ‘superstars’, I am excited to bring my talents to Privatus. It is gratifying when I hear that a client loves a caregiver that I hired, because that means a win-win for both parties. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and going to concerts.
As a Recruitment Coordinator with Privatus, it is my role to assist the recruitment team with the onboarding of top quality caregivers. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Long Island University and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the New York Institute of Technology. With ten years of experience at a local hospital before joining Privatus, I am well versed in the health care industry and committed to upholding the high standards that Privatus represents. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and attending concerts.
As the Supervisor of Client Services, I am entrusted with making sure that the care we provide to our clients is the best possible, and I do my utmost to make this happen. With over 30 years of experience in business administration and nursing, I am dedicated to advocating for our clients and take great pride in exceeding their expectations. As a member of several professional organizations I believe in being connected and current in my nursing practice; some of these include the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, the Professional Nurses Association of Suffolk County, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Oncology Nursing Society. In my spare time I relax with my family and like to give back to my community by participating in local volunteer events. You can also find me walking the beaches in search of seashells. I am proud to be part of the dynamic team that is Privatus Long Island!
